White Holes
Wide White Holes is an exploration of natural textures within the form of the book. Handmade wool felt cover echoes the burn holes of the book pages. In my new work, I am addressing the impermanence and perfection of the natural materials, beauty of decay and fragility of memory. The paper for this book was made by hand and dried on hot adobe walls. Felt cover was made from sheep’s wool and dyed with nettles.
